Shown above in the newpaper clipping is Lawrence Butler, who started Georgia Boys Fish Camp back in the 1940's. Butler Drive, our road, is named in his honor.

Bill Poston, and his wife Elois who lived across the road from the fish camp, were fishing guides for Georgia Boys Fish Camp in the 1950's and 1960's.
